How to buy at Tokyo Mania?
Buying at TokioMania.shop is very simple, the first thing is to know the different statuses of products we handle.

STATUS: IN STOCK
These are products that are available for purchase and immediate shipping. You can buy it immediately by adding it to the cart and following the purchase process until you finish your order.
STATUS: UPON REQUEST
These are products that are already sold out from our store, but we can get them for you.
To buy it, you must send a message from the TOKYO MANIA CHAT, located in the lower right corner. You must provide the name and photos of the figure you want and our sales department will process your request and send you a quote for the product you are looking for.
If the price and condition of the item meets your needs, you will be shared a link from which you can purchase that item and finish making your purchase normally.
IMPORTANT:
*It is important that you know that these links are valid for 24 hours, after this time the product may no longer be available at that price, so we advise you to request the link until you are 100% sure of the purchase you are going to make. After 24 hours, we cannot guarantee the same price and condition of the item, so another quote would have to be made.
STATUS: ON BACKORDER
These are products that are available but the time to process your order is 10 days after your purchase. You can buy it in the same way as IN STOCK products. The price of this type of item is constantly updated so it is possible that in the future you will find it at a different price. You can see the last price update date on the product details page.
TOKIO MANIAC VIP
It is the loyalty program that we offer to our most special clients. The benefits are the following:
- The client will be able to pay their figure using the TOKIO MANIA PAY modality. This means that you can pay your figure within a maximum period of 20 days after purchasing the product in our online store. It is necessary for the customer to make a minimum deposit during the next 24 hours after purchasing a product, otherwise the transaction will be cancelled.
- The most popular pre-sales will open in our online store 1 hour earlier compared to regular customers.
- Exclusive auctions only for TOKIO MANIACS VIP.
Requirements to be TOKYO MANIAC VIP
- Have at least 5 transactions completed in our online store within the last 365 days.
- Not having any pre-sales or canceled transactions within the last 365 days.,
PREORDERS
At Tokio Mania we offer pre-sales of the newest products in Japan simultaneously, that is, when they are on pre-sale in Japan at Tokio Mania you will see them published.
How much should I pay for my pre-sale?
Each pre-sale item has important information such as the minimum quantity required to secure your pre-sale, as well as the release date and deadline to settle your pre-sale payment. To know exactly this information, go to the page of the pre-sale you want and read the published information.
Is there a pre-sale limit per product?
TOKIO MANIA is focused on the collector, therefore, with the sole purpose that the greatest number of collectors reach a piece from our inventory, we can only distribute one figure per customer. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
When will my pre-sale arrive?
Once the figure is officially released in Japan, approximately 10 days later we will be shipping your item using the shipping method you have chosen when paying for your pre-sale (see shipping times in the “Shipping Methods” part). It is important to remember that for your item to be shipped, the total cost of the item must be fully paid.
What happens if I don’t pay the rest of the pre-sale cost?
Speaking people understand, we can arrange a longer period for you to finish paying your pre-sale, however, we reserve the right to make use of this solution depending on the case in question and there may be modifications in the price of the figure adjusting to the inventory of the figure at that time.
The pre-sale I wanted was sold out, but I still want the item.
We can get it for you, although the sales price will most likely be different from the pre-sale. The item stops being PRE-SALE and becomes an UPON REQUEST sale, carefully read the point above that explains it.
I have already settled the pre-sale, the item’s departure date has arrived and I still have not received notification that my item has been sent to me.
Pre-sale items may suffer delays for different reasons beyond Tokyo Mania, whether due to manufacturing problems, or delays in distribution or even customs detentions. You can contact us and request a status of your order.
What is the shipping cost for the pre-sale I am interested in?
Unfortunately we cannot determine it since this is a product that has not yet been released for sale, we cannot know the weight and measurements of the final product, so it is impossible to calculate the shipping cost. The shipping cost will be notified once we have the product in our warehouse and we know the final weight and measurements. We appreciate your understanding.
Special Requests
Do you want an item that is not in our catalog? Don’t worry, we can get it for you!
That’s right, we know that the amount of items like figures, toys, and other cute things in Japan is ridiculously large, and it would be impossible to have them all listed in our store (although we try hard to make that happen).
However, we can get those products that are not published in our store for you. What you have to do is the following:
- First make sure that the product is not already published in our store. Use our search engine or browse the brands and categories we have.
- If you can’t find it, send a message through our CHAT and wait for one of our agents to respond.
- You must provide the name and photo of the product you want to buy.
- When we have found it we will give you photos, conditions and price of the item.
- If the quote seems good to you, a publication will be created where you can purchase the item. This publication will have a password (which we will send to the client via email) to guarantee that another client does not buy the item.</ li>
- If you wish to purchase the item, we recommend that you do so as soon as possible because if the item you are interested in is already out of stock or our suppliers have modified the price of the product, the transaction will be cancelled, proceeding to refund the amount transferred to our bank account.
- Approximately one week after your purchase, we will send your item to your door using the shipping method you have chosen.

Shipping processing.

- Maximum weight per package: 2 kilos and the measurements of the package must not exceed 90cm adding all its sides (Height, Width and Length)
- Delivery time: 15 to 21 days (Delivery times depend on the postal service of each country)

- Customs: There is a possibility that customs will verify the contents of the package and generate import tax charges, which are the responsibility of the client.
